About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Work Health and Safety (WHS) professional to join our team at Rest, a leading superannuation fund in Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of WHS initiatives and programs that support the physical and mental health and wellbeing of our people.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant WHS legislation and regulations.
  • Collaborate with leaders and employees to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Develop and implement procedures and programs to support Rest's strategic objectives.
  • Provide advice and guidance on WHS matters and interpret related policies and procedures.
  • Consult and communicate with all levels of employees to promote a health and wellbeing culture.
  • Monitor and report on WHS performance and implement strategies to improve the quality and effectiveness of our WHS framework.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is essential.
  • Return to Work certification is desirable.
  • Experience in implementing WHS activities and programs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of WHS legislation and its application.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
