Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Workplace Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Regular Audits: Identify and inform management of compliance issues, safety risks, and improvement opportunities through the conduct of daily, weekly, and monthly audits.
  • Facilitate Incident Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into workplace incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain Safety Records: Ensure accurate and timely completion of safety incident reports, audits, and other required paperwork to comply with Amazon and local regulations.
  • Coach and Train Colleagues: Provide guidance and support to area managers and other employees to ensure they understand and comply with safety procedures and regulations.
  • Participate in Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance safety and efficiency.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1+ Years of Experience in WHS or a Related Field
  • Cert IV in WHS or Equivalent
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to Work a Flexible Schedule, Including Weekends and Nights
