Family Preservation Specialist

Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled FPR Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing intensive intervention and support to families at risk of child removal or reunification.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to prevent children entering or re-entering out-of-home care.
- Work collaboratively with the Family & Community Services Team to provide comprehensive support services.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualised plans to address complex family needs.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Child Development, Psychology, or related field.
- Significant work experience in a relevant field supporting understanding of key child development issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using strengths-based and child-centered family-focused theoretical models.
- Knowledge of child development research and its application in treatment.
