About the Role
We seek an experienced Sales Account Manager to join our Chatswood-based team in Sydney. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity reporting directly to the Sales Director.
You will be responsible for managing and growing an established portfolio spanning our Online Retailer Conference & Expo, the #1 event for Australia's eCommerce and digital retail industries.
Your focus will be on nurturing client relationships, increasing rebookings, and identifying new business opportunities through strategy, consultative sales, and innovation.
About the Portfolio
The Online Retailer Conference & Expo is the top destination for the eCommerce sector. It brings together attendees from various industries, including digital, retail, technology, marketing, and eCommerce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Identify new business opportunities and engage with potential customers via outreach efforts
- Develop customized Account Development Plans tailored to each customer's needs
- Deliver against individual and team revenue targets
- Strategically manage rebookers, lapsed accounts, and new leads
- Maintain client engagement through regular meetings and communications
- Collaborate with the Sales Director to set goals and milestones
- Ensure up-to-date documentation and report key metrics
Requirements
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in B2B selling environments with a solid understanding of sales strategies and processes
- Prior experience in eCommerce or Retail sectors is preferred
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills
- Able to convert leads, overcome objections, and manage key accounts effectively
- Strong business acumen and ability to manage competing priorities
