Key Role in Stakeholder Engagement

The organisation is seeking a Strategic Engagement Manager to play a pivotal role in maintaining and growing relationships with external stakeholders. This strategic position will support standards development activities by identifying and advancing adjacent and revenue-generating opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead engagement activities with various stakeholders, including nominating organisations, government agencies, and departments, to advance sector-specific opportunities.
  • Establish, build, maintain, and manage new relationships with stakeholders to enhance the organisation's reputation and position it as a trusted partner across standards and initiatives.
  • Provide timely strategic advice to Executive leadership on emerging issues, trends, and opportunities for the organisation.
  • Closely collaborate with project and program managers to support standards development activities.
  • Represent the organisation at external conferences, forums, and committees.
Requirements:
  • A degree in business, arts, politics, law, communications, engineering, or a relevant field is essential.
  • At least 3 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, policy, or advocacy roles, including work across government or industry associations.
  • Demonstrated experience within the Building and Construction sector is preferred.
  • A proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and competing priorities.
