
VENDOR RELATIONSHIP SPECIALIST

**The Role**
This role involves building, managing, and enhancing relationships with strategic vendors and stakeholders to optimize value, measure performance, mitigate risks, and drive innovative solutions. You will be involved in all aspects of the vendor management lifecycle, from conducting due diligence to monitoring performance and ensuring contract compliance. Additionally, you will represent our organization at strategic vendor meetings and ensure that their services align with our business requirements and internal policies.

- Manage interactions, communication, and reporting between strategic vendors and internal resources, including key stakeholders and leaders.
- Champion internal customer and vendor business goals and strategies to establish common goals and ensure vendors' alignment with our strategic priorities.
- Undertake commercial reviews of key vendor agreements, including Statements of Work, Managed Services Agreements, and software licenses.
- Prepare vendor management plans for strategic vendors, schedule and run governance meetings, and manage escalations.
- Assist with the management of vendor performance issues, disputes, and negotiation of change requests.
- Remain up-to-date with vendor service offerings and product roadmaps to identify opportunities for our organization.
- Manage vendor risk, guided by our Risk Manager, including risk identification, profiling, reporting, and incident management.
**About You**
A thought leader with experience in building and driving strategic vendor partnerships to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes for both our organization and vendors. You should have expertise in identifying and engaging with key IT partners, gaining insights on their offerings, motivations, strategic plans, competitors, and market challenges.
