About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at JD Sports Australia. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a unique and memorable shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a brand ambassador, showcasing our extensive range of sports fashion products and providing expert knowledge to customers.
  • Assist customers with all queries and process sales transactions efficiently and effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider management and store team to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Support the team with various tasks, including visual merchandising, store maintenance, and presentation.
  • Escalate any customer complaints to management and provide a resolution.
Requirements
  • Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar industry.
  • Passion for sports fashion and a strong understanding of the latest trends.
  • Positive attitude, with a can-do approach and a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on store needs.
