About the Role

RDO Equipment Australia is seeking a highly skilled IT Support Officer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our end-users, ensuring that any issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • First point of contact for all IT Support requests
  • Multitasking between inbound calls and queue management within the ticketing system to ensure services are delivered within expected time frames of our Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
  • Receiving, triaging, and resolving incidents relating to windows and web applications, business systems, networking issues, end user computers, desk phones, headsets, mobile devices etc and escalating as required
  • Following standard operating procedures to carry out request fulfilment including staff administration and new equipment requests
  • Imaging, deploying and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals and shipping them to our various locations
  • Assets management including records keeping, tracking assets through their lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning and auditing
  • Be part of the rotating on-call roster
Requirements
  • Diploma or higher in an information technology field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as IT Service Desk Specialist within a large organisation
  • Experience performing basic user and group administration tasks in AD, Office 365, Exchange, Sharepoint, Teams & One Drive
  • Basic knowledge & troubleshooting of networking such as DHCP & DNS
  • Strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships with customers, fellow work colleagues and management
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills with the ability to think on your feet
  • Valid driver's licence
