The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Boutique Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our new boutique in Perth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the boutique, including sales, customer service, and staff management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management:
    • Continuously review operational reports and records to ensure company policies and procedures are being upheld.
    • Ensure set up and set down processes are implemented and run smoothly.
    • Define responsibilities of sales team members, ensuring all tasks are completed to the expected standard.
    • Help solve problems that affect the store's service, efficiency, and productivity.
    • Ensure the store has adequate security and complies with safety codes.
  • Sales and Service Management
    • Conduct orientation and regular training sessions for sales team members.
    • Coach and develop the team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
    • Schedule the workforce throughout the store to ensure optimal coverage.
    • Maintain the highest standards of customer service and ensure that all customer interactions are positive and memorable.
  • People Management
    • Motivate staff to optimize their performance and achieve sales targets.
    • Set objectives for staff performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
    • Assess training needs and identify areas for improvement within the business.
    • Conduct formal performance appraisals and provide coaching to Assistant Boutique Managers and department heads.
  • Financial Management
    • Ensure sales targets are achieved and monitor costs to identify areas for cost reduction.
  • Training and Development
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest Longines e-learning programs and ensure that all staff members are fully qualified.
    • Conduct ongoing sales coaching to ensure that selling skills are of the highest standard.
    • Motivate staff to increase their selling expertise and lead by example at all times.
    • Work with the Marketing and Communications Team to develop and coordinate events that promote the Longines brand.

Requirements

  • Extensive retail experience, preferably in the luxury sector.
  • Highly developed and proven customer service skills.
  • Proven staff management experience.
  • Computer literacy skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Team player with energy, drive, and enthusiasm.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for the Longines brand.
