Energy Storage Project Manager

The role requires leading energy storage project development from greenfield to licensing, as well as driving investment and financing activities across Australia's National Electricity Market (NEM) and relevant state jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and analysing Australian electricity market structures, identifying and prioritising energy storage project opportunities, managing end-to-end development workflows, building relationships with government agencies and stakeholders, developing financial models, and establishing investment partnerships.
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years in the Australian energy or power sector, with a background spanning technical, financial modelling, and project development.
- Advanced financial modelling and investment analysis skills for large-scale energy projects.
- A proven track record in energy storage project development, renewable energy M&A, or asset rotation in Australia.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with technical teams, investors, government agencies, and communities.
