Energy Storage Project Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our energy storage project portfolio. The ideal candidate has deep understanding of sales of large and complex energy projects.

About the Role

This permanent position will be based in Australia; preferably in Sydney. As an Energy Storage Project Manager, you will play a key role in originating new business opportunities and developing a strong pipeline of energy storage projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Originate new business opportunities and develop a strong pipeline of energy storage projects
  • Lead the project sales team and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders
  • Secure deal quality by ensuring requirements are understood and accounted for with correct pricing strategies and risk management
  • Lead contract negotiations while ensuring compliance with contract policies and guidelines
  • Promote strategic objectives and value-based selling
  • Develop successful partnerships with key customers and strategic partners
  • Accountable for strategy and account planning for assigned customers
  • Represent voice of customers to internal stakeholders
  • Develop a solid understanding of relevant local legislation and the requirements for doing business in the renewable energy sector
  • Manage, follow up and report progress by keeping CRM updated
  • Ensure sales projects are smoothly transitioned to the project delivery team
