Senior Front Desk Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Front Desk Operations Manager to join our team at Novotel and Ibis Melbourne Central.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of the front desk, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maximizing profitability.
- Manage and optimize the performance of the front desk, telephone, and night audit functions.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with the Housekeeping department.
- Promote and enforce service standards across all areas of responsibility.
- Analyze and address operational efficiency opportunities to drive profitability.
- Elevate customer satisfaction and staff engagement through proactive problem-solving and creative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence- Lead the front desk team in delivering exceptional service, ensuring seamless check-ins, check-outs, and guest interactions.
- Implement processes to streamline front desk operations, reduce wait times, and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Foster strong partnerships with the Housekeeping department to ensure seamless communication and coordinated efforts.
- Conduct regular meetings with the front desk team to discuss performance, share best practices, and provide constructive feedback.
- Mentor and develop the skills of the front desk team members, identifying opportunities for growth and promoting career advancement.
- Collaborate with HR to identify training needs and implement tailored development programs.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior front office or management role.
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence, improving customer satisfaction, and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and implement creative solutions.
- Degree in hospitality, business administration, or related field.
