Job Title: Executive Kitchen Leader

About the Role

This is an opportunity for a skilled and ambitious chef to take on a leadership role in our hotel kitchen. As Executive Kitchen Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of chefs and stewards, ensuring that all food service operations run smoothly and efficiently.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to achieve high standards of culinary excellence.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to drive business growth and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and maintain accurate records of stock levels and ordering.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
  • Over two years of experience in a senior kitchen leadership role, preferably in a 5-star hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current food safety certification.
