Job Overview

This is a Boilermaker/Welder role within our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all safety inductions and procedures are completed prior to undertaking any tasks.

The primary duties of this position include marking out/off structural fabrication and shapes according to specifications, preparing material for bending, drilling or machining after dressing is completed by the steelyard, assembling and welding parts according to technical drawings and route sheets, repairing, replacing, modifying and fabricating using appropriate tools and welding techniques.

Additionally, the candidate will perform appropriate welding to carry out the job, operate hand tools and power tools as required, draw and interpret sketches appropriate to the job, and operate forklift/crane when required to shift and load equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a Boilermaker Trade Certificate, strong attention to detail, significant boiler making experience, ability to work in confined spaces, and ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical drawings and procedure manuals.
