Boilermaker/Welder Job Opportunity

Are you a skilled boilermaker/welder looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We are seeking an experienced fixed plant boilermaker to join our service team in the newly built Metso Karratha Service Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all safety inductions and procedures have been completed prior to undertaking any tasks.
  • Mark out/off structural fabrication and shapes according to specifications.
  • Prepare material for bending, drilling or machining.
  • Assemble and weld parts according to technical engineering drawings and route sheets.
  • Repair, replace, modify and fabricate using appropriate tools and welding techniques.
Requirements:
  • Boilermaker Trade Certificate.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical drawings and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
