Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Asset Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and repair of various built assets and infrastructure, such as park furniture and equipment, are carried out according to prescribed service levels and Australian Standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

">
  • ">
  • Conducting scheduled inspections of built assets and infrastructure to identify and report any faults.">
  • Ensuring maintenance and repair services are planned and executed according to the City of Hobart's prescribed service levels.">
  • Assisting in implementing the Playground Inspection Program to ensure it meets Australian Standards for playground management.">
  • Supporting the implementation of the Capital Workers Program across Parks and Open Space areas managed by the City of Hobart.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A Certificate III or above in a relevant trade.">
  • Demonstrated experience in delivery of construction and maintenance programs and services.">
  • A can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a friendly team.">
  • Great attention to detail and a flexible and responsive approach in a varied work environment.">
