About the Role

The Operations Manager – Retail will support our Retail Asset Managers in managing a portfolio of Shopping Centres in line with client requirements. With the backing of the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary to excel in your role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of property operations, safety, risk, and compliance
  • Establishing and managing a Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme
  • Serving as the primary contact for technical and maintenance advice
  • Ensuring all relevant statutory requirements are addressed
  • Managing tenant relationships regarding operational issues and satisfaction
  • Administering capital and operational expense management, including budget preparation and forecasting

About You

To succeed at Elders, you should possess:

  • A Property Representative licence or ability to attain one in the near future
  • Tertiary qualifications (degree or diploma) in Facilities Management or other property-related courses
  • Trade qualification in electrical, mechanical engineering, or plumbing, or significant work experience and demonstrated success in a similar role or related industry
  • General knowledge of WHS legislation, principles, and practices
  • General understanding of key building services
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent business writing and oral communication skills
  • A current driver's licence

What We Offer
