Electrical Asset Management Specialist



We are seeking an Electrical Asset Management Specialist to join our team at Hydro Tasmania. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of electrical engineers and technicians in the management of our hydropower assets.



The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with experience in electrical engineering and asset management. They will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire their team members.



This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the chance to travel and see some of the most breathtaking locations in Tasmania.



The salary range for this position is $135,459 – $157,027 plus super.



About the Role

In this role, you will:




  • Provide key input into Production and Maintenance decisions, utilising your technical expertise to support plant reliability and condition information.


  • Develop and lead a team to possess the skills, experience, and behaviours to effectively implement and manage the operation of assets.


  • Contribute to the creation of resource and succession plans and take responsibility for the development of your team members.


  • Evaluate and recommend life cycle asset management strategies.




You will be working closely with other teams to improve engineering workflow and quality outcomes.
