Tassal's Fixed Assets Specialist

As a key member of Tassal's Accounting Operations Team, you will play a vital role in maintaining our Fixed Asset System to provide accurate, timely information for live project tracking and informed decision-making.

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal policies and driving transformation to continually improve embedded Fixed Asset and Payables processes.

About the Role
  • Record and track newly acquired assets and projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Calculate and record depreciation for all fixed assets, adhering to established procedures.
  • Regularly update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation, guaranteeing consistency and precision.
  • Handle valuations and retirements of assets as required, upholding company standards.
  • Prepare and support the annual audit related to fixed assets, demonstrating expertise and professionalism.
  • Ensure alignment with global fixed asset policy, promoting cohesion and best practices.
  • Oversee and manage all building-related maintenance and tenancy, safeguarding assets and facilities.
Requirements
  • Proven skills with Microsoft 365 programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and PowerBI), with a focus on data analysis and presentation.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for accuracy and detail, resulting in high-quality work outcomes and exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to work autonomously, meeting deadlines and delivering results in a timely manner.
