Salary and Benefits

This role comes with an attractive salary range of $95,251 to $100,589 per annum, plus 13% superannuation. As a valued employee, you will also enjoy above award wages and employer superannuation at 13%, with salary sacrifice options available.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Road Assets team as a Highway Infrastructure Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and performing road asset management, project planning, maintenance, and management activities.

You will focus on meeting the needs of internal clients while ensuring the sustainability of the Council's Road infrastructure. This includes creating specifications and briefs for road asset investigations and data collection, collaborating with client/service custodians to develop community service levels, and providing information to assist in the preparation of budgets and unit plans.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification;
  • 3-5 years' experience in road design, construction, asset management or maintenance;
  • A valid driver's license;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
