About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Asset Strategist to join our team at the Department of State Growth. As a key member of our Property and Facilities division, you will play a critical role in developing and managing our property management framework while providing expert advice and support across the department's statewide property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the state growth property management framework to ensure efficient use of resources and effective asset management.
  • Provide strategic advice and support to stakeholders on property and facilities matters, including lease development coordination and management.
  • Inform and implement property and asset management strategies to drive business improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure legislative compliance across the property portfolio related to statutory maintenance, work health and safety, contractor management, emergency management, and accessibility.
  • Manage complex change management projects, including office relocations, redevelopments, fit-outs, and business improvement initiatives.
  • Plan, procure, manage, and oversee works related to property and facilities contracts, including statutory and essential maintenance.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Relevant qualification in a field such as property or facilities management; ability to work on-call after hours, as required.
