Role Overview

Building meaningful relationships with donors and supporters is a pivotal aspect of this role. You will play a key part in deepening engagement, inspiring generosity, and ensuring every supporter feels valued and connected to the difference they are making.

This permanent full-time position focuses on nurturing long-term relationships to increase supporter loyalty, lifetime value, and confirmed bequests. The role contributes directly to income generation, pipeline development, and supporter engagement across individual giving programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with mid-value donors and Gifts in Wills supporters.
  • Play a key part in deepening engagement, inspiring generosity, and ensuring every supporter feels valued and connected to the difference they are making.
  • Contribute to income generation, pipeline development, and supporter engagement across individual giving programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Natural relationship-builder with outstanding communication skills.
  • Experience in fundraising, philanthropy, sales, or relationship management.
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing and/or communications or equivalent level of experience.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in related role.
  • Demonstrated experience in fundraising, donor relations, or relationship management—preferably within bequests, mid-value, or individual giving.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to sensitively and authentically engage supporters.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a donor pipeline and deliver against revenue and relationship KPIs.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in CRM/database systems and Microsoft Office suite.
