Our organization seeks a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Professional to spearhead the growth of our expansion efforts in Western Australia and South Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with broker partners, associations, and cluster/umbrella groups.
  2. Product Promotion: Actively promote a suite of innovative insurance products through face-to-face meetings, webinars, professional development days, expos, and conferences.
  3. Business Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support regional growth.
  4. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with underwriting teams across multiple brands.
  5. Marketing Support: Support marketing initiatives and assist in launching new products to market.
  6. Market Intelligence: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and broker needs to inform strategy.
  7. Performance Monitoring: Monitor broker performance and implement improvements to drive success.
  8. Intelligence Feedback: Provide market intelligence feedback to internal stakeholders.
  9. Team Leadership: Lead and support regional team operations.
  10. Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of marketing and engagement strategies.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in relationship management within the insurance sector.
  • Network: Extensive network across the WA and SA insurance market.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to unite teams and stakeholders toward common goals.
  • Knowledge: Solid knowledge of general insurance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Travel: Current driver's license and willingness to travel interstate and intrastate.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Adaptability: Ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Work Ethic: Team-oriented with a proactive and responsible work ethic.
