Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our KinCare team in the Tweed Heads area. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry services
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring healthy and nutritious food options
  • Provide social support and transport to lifestyle activities, promoting social interaction and community engagement
  • Offer personal care services, including grooming, bathing, and dressing, as well as medication management and mobility assistance
  • Provide respite and emotional support, offering a listening ear and comforting presence
  • Transport customers to appointments, facilitating access to essential healthcare services
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to use it for work purposes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varying shifts and meet changing customer needs
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, with a focus on quality, safety, and empathy
