Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate home care professionals to join our team at KinCare. As a permanent part-time employee, you will have the opportunity to work with older members of our community, providing them with essential support and care in the comfort of their own homes.

About the Role

This role involves providing domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry services, as well as assisting with meal preparation and shopping. You will also be responsible for providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Domestic Assistance: Cleaning and maintaining a safe and beautiful living environment for older people
  • Assisting with Meal Preparation and Shopping: Helping customers prepare and purchase meals, ensuring they have access to nutritious food
  • Social Support and Transport: Providing companionship and transportation to appointments, allowing customers to stay connected with their community
  • Personal Care: Assisting with daily tasks such as showering, dressing, and medication management, promoting overall well-being
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle. Additionally, you should be comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for help from your manager.
