About This Opportunity

This permanent part-time position offers guaranteed hours close to home, allowing you to provide exceptional care to our valued customers while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

As a Home Care Worker with KinCare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to older members of our community. Your daily tasks may include:

  • Domestic Assistance: Ensuring our customers' homes are clean, safe, and comfortable
  • Assisting with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating habits
  • Providing social support and transportation to lifestyle activities, fostering connections and engagement
  • Personal care, including assistance with mobility, therapy goals, and medication management
  • Respite and emotional support to help our customers cope with challenges
  • Social support and transportation to appointments, ensuring our customers stay connected with their community
  • Complex care for customers with high needs, such as dementia, requiring specialized attention

You will be rewarded with an attractive salary of $27.89 per hour, plus superannuation, paid kilometres, and other benefits that demonstrate our commitment to your well-being and career growth.

What We Look For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is an essential aspect of this job
  • The ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, prioritizing empathy and understanding
  • Flexibility to work at least three days a week, Monday to Friday, without night or weekend shifts
  • Independence and problem-solving skills, knowing when to seek guidance from your Manager
