Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team at SCC Tweed Heads NSW. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents and clients. You will provide expert nursing care, lead a team of dedicated care staff, and contribute to the overall quality of care delivery.

This is a Casual role with a competitive salary package, including hourly pay rate of $42.20 - 53.19 (depending on experience) plus not-for-profit benefits and superannuation, and casual loading.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assessing the health needs of residents and clients and developing care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Supervising and mentoring Enrolled Nurses and Care Service Employees
  • Providing clinical leadership and promoting best practices in care delivery
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
  • Maintaining accurate records and monitoring residents' progress

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
  • Proven experience in aged care, clinical nursing, or a related field
  • Strong clinical and assessment skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to delivering person-centered care
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • Understanding of ANACC, including charting, assessments, documentation, and funding submissions
