Job Overview

The Customer Liaison Specialist role is a key position, where you will work in partnership with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role
  • Assist with customer strategy, relationship management, and service delivery, as well as managing customer interactions through various stages of the process.
  • Maintain and retain existing relationships, including helping with retention strategies for the customer base.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with customers to assist with their overall needs, manage each interaction from initial contact to resolution, including customer strategy, communication, and issue resolution.
  • Implement and develop the customer retention strategy, including marketing initiatives.
  • Work alongside support teams and provide mentoring and coaching as required.
  • Manage relationships with new and existing customers, leveraging internal resources to maximise customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Proactively work with customers to understand their objectives and help implement plans to realise these objectives.
  • Liaise with internal/external stakeholders to ensure efficient progress of each interaction.
  • Exceptional service is at the heart of our model; we deliver a distinctive level of care for our customers.
Requirements
  • Degree preferred.
  • Cert IV in customer service and relations.
  • Relevant work experience in sales or service roles within customer-facing businesses, including knowledge of the Australian residential and commercial markets, and the regulatory environment.
  • Ability to deliver to tight deadlines and high expectations in a pressurised environment.
  • Strong customer relationship skills and a strong customer service ethic.
  • Prior knowledge of financial analysis, credit writing skills, and approval standards.
