Patient Liaison Specialist

The role of the Patient Liaison Specialist is to act as a key point of contact for inpatients and their families, providing informed financial consent.
- Establish relationships with patients, family members, internal stakeholders, Medicare, private health funds, and compensable third-party providers.
- Ensure seamless communication between parties involved in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient patient care.
- Collaborate with patients and their families to ensure they receive necessary information about their treatment costs.
- Communicate effectively with Medicare, private health funds, and compensable third-party providers to clarify billing processes.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong organisational abilities.
- Knowledge of health fund billing and hospital administration procedures.
