About the role:
You will conduct initial assessments, provide vocational counselling and return-to-work planning for clients with workplace psychological injuries. You will use core coaching skills, motivational interviewing, and mediation strategies to help clients achieve their goals.
Your responsibilities will include assisting injured claimants with client-centred support plans, initiating mental health and physical injury-related supports under the guidance of Treating Health teams, and monitoring the efficacy of program activities and supports.
We are looking for a candidate with a tertiary qualification in psychology or rehabilitation counselling, current AHPRA or ASORC registration, experience in occupational rehabilitation or related field, valid driver's license, and knowledge of workers' compensation and injury management.
