About Us

Island Health, a leading healthcare provider on Vancouver Island, is seeking an experienced cardiologist to join our team. As part of our Department of Cardiac Services, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who share your passion for cardiovascular care.

About the Role

We are offering a permanent position as a General Cardiologist in Victoria, with a focus on establishing a Heart Health Division. The successful candidate will have obligations including coronary care unit, cardiology wards, and cardiology consultation service. Academic affiliation and teaching opportunities are available through the University of British Columbia, Island Medical Program.

Requirements

  • Certification by Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Cardiology
  • Experience in Women's health, adult congenital heart disease, cardio-oncology, or cardiac rehabilitation would be an advantage
