Job Title: Technical Leadership Expert

This role presents an opportunity to join a core area of our business and contribute to org-wide multi-year goals through collaboration with multiple engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and evaluate system architectures for scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Lead large projects, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement techniques to quantify technical debt and determine when to address it.

This position will drive growth while improving the tech stack through transition states that drive business value.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading complex projects, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Extensive technical leadership experience on cloud-native platforms, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Strong communication skills, able to present at an executive level.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach engineers on technical challenges and career development.
  • Experience contributing to technical vision and advocating for engineering best practices across a portfolio.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing and implementing techniques to quantify the cost of technical debt and determine when to address it. They will also be experienced in software engineering with a focus on system architecture and design, championing a culture of experimentation.
