About Our Client

Our client is a prominent, privately owned industrial group that has been experiencing rapid growth. This success presents an opportunity to add a seasoned Executive Director of Financial Strategy to the senior leadership team.

This role will play a pivotal part in shaping and driving the company's strategy over the coming years. As a key business partner to the CEO, the successful candidate will build relationships across the group with various stakeholders to drive positive business outcomes.

The main challenges of this position include:

  • Corporatisation of a fast-growing, privately-owned organisation
  • Delivering results through influence and partnering with a value-add attitude
  • Increasing finance capabilities, including improving management/board reporting quality
  • Creating and executing a framework for a finance transformation
  • Advising on potential business acquisitions and divestments through tactical negotiations and due diligence

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced individual with a strong background in financial management. The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A CA/CPA qualification
  • Extensive experience in a similar role
  • A track record of delivering strategic objectives within a business-to-business style organisation, preferably in the industrial services sector
  • Experience in designing and implementing best practice across a finance function
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders
  • A proven ability to build, manage, and develop successful teams

Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this role is $250,000 - $350,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
