Merivale's Wine Visionary

Merivale, a leading hospitality empire in Australia, is seeking an exceptional Wine Director to elevate our beverage experience. Reporting directly to Dorianne Neimard, you will lead a high-performing team of Sommeliers and collaborate with the Restaurant Management team to deliver exceptional guest service and drive revenue results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute effective strategy and plans to drive beverage sales and revenue growth.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Sommeliers to provide world-class service and share wine knowledge with esteemed guests.
  • Collaborate with the Group General Manager – Beverage, Franck Moreau MS, to drive operational excellence and product performance.
  • Execute effective revenue generation activities and manage product performance with a guest focus.
  • Attract and lead a beverage team, including sourcing, recruiting, and induction.
  • Establish and drive collaboration and culture within the team.
  • Responsible for financial management of sales budgets in collaboration with the finance team and Group Beverage Manager.
