General Manager Opportunity at Rowlee Estate

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive our vision forward at Rowlee Estate, a premium Orange winery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Shape and drive Rowlee's strategic direction, ensuring alignment with our core values and long-term objectives.
  • Operational Management: Lead day-to-day operations to ensure smooth, efficient processes, maintain quality standards, and uphold regulatory compliance.
  • Financial Management: Plan and oversee the annual budget, track financial performance, and implement strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, and support team members, cultivating a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Guest Experience: Elevate the guest journey by developing unique events and curated experiences that reflect the Rowlee brand.
  • Marketing and Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to promote Rowlee through various platforms, including social media, events, and strategic partnerships.
  • Sustainability Efforts: Advocate for and implement sustainable practices across all aspects of the estate.
Requirements:
  • A degree in business management, hospitality, tourism, or a related field is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of management experience in the wine, hospitality, or tourism industries.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and setting objectives.
  • Proven leadership and team development abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
