Role Overview:

The Production Support Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

  • Responsible for promoting safety in accordance with company policies and legislation.
  • Supports FeedTrack log entries, corrective action tracking, and identifying proactive safety hazards.
  • Ensures all activities comply with HACCP and Quality Management System (QMS) regulations.
  • Assists in maintaining site accreditation, quality documentation, and supporting quality audits.
  • Provides excellent customer service through prompt responses to internal and external queries.
  • Accurately records production entries into D365 and updates daily meeting boards.
  • Manages document control, including SOPs and training records, and raises purchase orders.
  • Coordinates invoice accruals, monitors Admin Inbox, and freight invoices.
  • Records and archives staff files and induction documents.
  • Conducts internal audits on systems like LinkSafe, ChemAlert, FeedTrack, and Guardian.
  • Offers ad hoc support to the Production team on projects and initiatives.
  • Engages in personal development, relevant training, and site meetings.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an office environment.
  • Solid understanding of general accounting principles and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable processes, production support functions, and business processes.
  • Understanding of ERP systems like D365.
