Are you ready to take your leadership journey to the next level? Join us at Narangba Valley State School Helping Hands as a Co-Coordinator (Job Share) at our OSHC (Helping Hands) and lead a team of passionate Educators while making a real impact on the lives of children You will also have the support of a fulltime Service Manager who is available additional to ratio each day.

This permanent, fulltime role offers 38 hours per week for both our Coordinators, including non-contact admin hours, providing a fantastic opportunity to develop and collaborate on your leadership skills. With ongoing training, mentorship, and dedicated support, we'll ensure you're equipped to thrive in a supportive leadership role.

As a Coordinator, you'll work across fortnightly rosters with split shifts one week and block shifts the next –

Week 1: Split Shifts, Monday to Friday across the service's operating hours of:

• 6:30-8:30am (Rise then Shine)

• 2:30-6:00pm (Stay and Play)

Plus, additional non-contact hours (your choice of morning or afternoon).

Week 2: Block shifts

  • 8 hour shifts each day

You will also work block shifts during school holidays (Holiday HQ program).

About the Role – Lead Your Team to Success

As Co-Coordinators, you'll collaboratively lead a team of passionate Educators and oversee an engaging before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years. This role is all about teamwork and leadership:

  • You'll create and lead a dynamic, child-centered program filled with exciting activities like STEM, sports, cooking, arts and crafts—all designed to inspire and engage.
  • Together, you'll take full ownership of the team's roster, manage day-to-day operations, ensure compliance, and handle admin tasks—all while fostering an environment of teamwork and growth.
  • With mentorship from regional managers and support from a dedicated office team, you'll have everything you need to develop your leadership skills collaboratively and make a real impact.

Qualifications

Diploma or higher-level qualifications relevant to working with children in OSHC as per ACECQA (or working towards).
