We are seeking an exceptional Drafting Operations Director to lead our drafting team in delivering high-quality shop drawings for commercial cabinetry projects.

About the Role

The Drafting Operations Director will oversee a team of drafters, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. They will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings and technical documentation for production, coordinating with internal teams to ensure alignment and accuracy, maintaining drafting standards, and implementing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of drafters, promoting a high-performance culture and driving results through effective leadership and communication.
  • Prepare accurate and timely shop drawings and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align on project goals, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Maintain and implement drafting standards, best practices, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar drafting leadership role within the cabinetry or related industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and strong understanding of cabinetry construction methods and materials.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, commitment to producing accurate drawings, and excellent communication skills.
