Training Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Trainer and Assessor to join our team in delivering engaging and relevant training & assessment services. The role involves ensuring content and delivery of accredited courses meet ASQA/ RTO Standards and other applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality training and assessment services that meet industry standards
  • Supervise students' behaviours and provide motivating training
  • Maintain equipment, training venues and training aids to ensure they are serviceable, clean, tidy, and safe for operation
  • Travel may be required to deliver training off-site

About You / Qualifications

  • A can-do attitude and an upbeat personality
  • Ability to multitask in a busy RTO environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously when required
  • Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines with excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrate solid experience as a Trainer/ Assessor and hold current industry skills
  • Cert IV TAE (plus upgrade units if required)
  • Possess a High-Risk Work Licence (HRWL)
  • Demonstrated Lifting Operations experience within the construction/ civil, resources & infrastructure or training sectors
  • Be accredited by WorkSafe as an Individual Assessor (or ability to gain accreditation, if applicable)
  • Be eligible to obtain a Working with Children Check Card and a Police Check
