About This Role

Holiday Inn Werribee is a hotel situated in the heart of Melbourne, showcasing an open lobby concept. The hotel boasts 150 stylishly appointed guest rooms, gym, outdoor garden courtyard, all day dining in our Rosana Bistro & Bar and versatile conference and events spaces.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring seamless check-ins and check-outs, promptly responding to guest requests and enquiries.
  • Manage guest reservation profiles accurately and efficiently.
  • Recognize and welcome back IHG members, encouraging new guests to enroll for IHG One Rewards Loyalty program.
  • Upsell guest accommodation rooms and utilize in-house food & beverage offerings effectively.
  • Stay informed about hotel facilities, including room configuration and food & beverage operating hours.
  • Offer support to other operational areas as needed.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a front office position within a hotel environment.
  • Proficiency using property management and point of sale systems, with experience in Opera and Infrasys desirable.
  • A positive and energetic attitude with a proactive approach.
  • Commitment to work a rotational roster, including early mornings, late evenings, overnights, weekends and public holidays.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A current RSA Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate is desired.
  • Valid Australian working rights.
