About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Client Service Officer to join our team at a large sports precinct facility. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to a diverse range of visitors, including sports teams, community groups, and school groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Assist with planning and coordinating events, including checking venue run sheets and booking information, and performing inductions for event contacts and contractors.
  • Customer Service: Provide high-level customer service to visitors, including responding to enquiries via phone and email, and managing financial payments through our booking system.
  • Facility Management: Ensure the safety and presentation of all venue areas, including setting up and packing down sports fields, leisure centre courts, and meeting rooms.
  • Administration: Perform end-of-day administration and facility management procedures, including preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Requirements
  • Availability: Availability to work between Monday and Sunday, 38 hours per week on a casual basis.
  • Experience: Previous experience and/or qualification within the sport, recreation, health or fitness fields.
  • Certifications: Blue Card, First Aid, and Police clearance (can be obtained prior to commencing).
