Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users in a client environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients and provide technical support for desktops, laptops, and other IT equipment.
- Contribute to the EUC Team by providing support to end-users and working towards operational and project objectives.
- Work on day-to-day incident resolution and request fulfillment aligned to the ITIL framework.
- Involved in IMAC-D activities for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment and peripherals as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with new and emerging technologies as required by business needs.
Requirements and Preferences:
- 1+ year of experience in computer software and hardware troubleshooting, Windows operating system as a field technician.
- Good understanding of the ITIL framework is a must.
- Experience in using ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to physically perform general office requirements.
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Travel, including overnight domestic trips, will be required.
