Role Overview:

NTT DATA Services is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. As a key member of our End User Computing (EUC) team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients in a client environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing timely and effective support for their IT needs.
  • Contribute to the EUC team, providing support to end-users in a client environment, and working collaboratively to achieve operational and project objectives.
  • Work is guided by operational and project objectives, measured on Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Critical Success Factors (CSFs), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned to the same.
  • Resolve day-to-day incidents and fulfill requests aligned to the ITIL framework.
  • Involved in the installation, movement, addition, change, and decommissioning/disposal of desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment and peripherals as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with new and emerging technologies, guided by business requirements.

Requirements and Preferences:

  • 1+ year of experience in computer software and hardware troubleshooting, Windows operating system as a field technician (desktop or deskside support).
  • Good understanding of the ITIL framework is a must.
  • Experience in using IT Service Management (ITSM) tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.
  • Good communication skills (written and spoken) in English.
  • Ability to physically perform general office requirements.
  • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Travel, including overnight domestic trips, will be required.
