Key Responsibilities:

  • BUILD AND CONFIGURE LAPTOPS: Configure laptops according to standard specifications, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • TROUBLESHOOT APPLICATION AND OS ISSUES: Troubleshoot issues related to applications and operating systems, resolving them efficiently.
  • UPDATE ANTIVIRUS AND WINDOWS PATCHES: Regularly update antivirus software and windows patches to ensure the system remains secure.

  • ENSURE SYSTEM AVAILABILITY: Ensure all laptops and desktops are working properly, responding to service issues in a timely manner.
  • PROVIDE TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Provide technical support across the company, both in-person and remotely, regarding any operating system issues.
  • MANAGE IT ASSETS: Keep track of the number of laptops and desktops in the store, managing IT assets effectively.
  • PROMOTE A POSITIVE WORK ENVIRONMENT: Collaborate with the core technical team in the server room, promoting a positive work environment.
About You

We're looking for someone with excellent problem-solving skills, who is highly self-driven and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance, directing unresolved issues to respective teams when necessary.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support operations, preferably in a multi-platform environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365, and other relevant technologies.
  • Experience with contact center support, asset management, and SOE deployment.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes, particularly Incident Management.
  • Able to operate well in an environment where teamwork is critical.
