Desktop Support Specialist with Windows 10 Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at Pyramid Global Technologies. This role will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees, ensuring that their laptops and desktops are running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- BUILD AND CONFIGURE LAPTOPS: Configure laptops according to standard specifications, ensuring they meet the required standards.
- TROUBLESHOOT APPLICATION AND OS ISSUES: Troubleshoot issues related to applications and operating systems, resolving them efficiently.
- UPDATE ANTIVIRUS AND WINDOWS PATCHES: Regularly update antivirus software and windows patches to ensure the system remains secure.
- ALLOCATE AND DEALLOCATE ASSETS: Allocate and deallocate assets in the CMDB (Configuration Management Database) as needed.
- ENSURE SYSTEM AVAILABILITY: Ensure all laptops and desktops are working properly, responding to service issues in a timely manner.
- PROVIDE TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Provide technical support across the company, both in-person and remotely, regarding any operating system issues.
- MANAGE IT ASSETS: Keep track of the number of laptops and desktops in the store, managing IT assets effectively.
- PROMOTE A POSITIVE WORK ENVIRONMENT: Collaborate with the core technical team in the server room, promoting a positive work environment.

As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance, directing unresolved issues to respective teams when necessary.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in IT support operations, preferably in a multi-platform environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365, and other relevant technologies.
- Experience with contact center support, asset management, and SOE deployment.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, particularly Incident Management.
- Able to operate well in an environment where teamwork is critical.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, along with opportunities for professional growth and development.
