About the Role

The National Instructional Designer is a key position within MSS Security Pty Ltd, responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of non-accredited training programs across the national business and individual units.

This role involves working closely with state or national stakeholders and clients to design, develop, and update training programs that meet identified needs. The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing assessment tools and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and update training programs to meet identified needs
  • Work with state or national stakeholders and clients to deliver training programs
  • Implement assessment tools and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
  • Maintain awareness of industry best practices to recommend innovative solutions that effectively contribute to learning and assessment
Requirements
  • TAE40116-Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education
  • Demonstrated experience of developing training and assessment materials linked to specific units of competency and qualification
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with high attention to details
  • Well-versed in instructional design and development of high-quality, engaging training materials and resources
  • Reliable time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects within tight timeframes
  • Good working knowledge of the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) and Standards for Registered Training Organisations
