As a Professional Learning Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients on how to maximize the potential of our exceptional educational software, alongside proven instructional strategies, to meet their educational objectives.

In collaboration with the Professional Learning Group, you will facilitate engaging live webinars and both virtual and in-person professional development sessions that showcase product implementation and encourage its effective use.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality live and recorded professional development sessions aimed at enhancing customer engagement with IXL.
  • Travel to various educational institutions across Australia to deliver impactful professional development sessions – with travel requirements ranging from 30-50%.
  • Assist clients in reaching their educational goals by designing learning experiences that align with their institutional initiatives and desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Sales teams to nurture and expand customer relationships.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in Primary, Secondary, or Senior Secondary education; leadership experience at the department or school level is advantageous.
  • Experience in educational professional development is preferred.
  • Familiarity with web-based instructional technologies is essential.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills are a must.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who connects well with others and fosters a positive, collaborative environment.
  • Highly organized, methodical, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated and quick to learn, with a commitment to enhancing education through technology.
  • Experience with Google Apps and Zoom is beneficial.
  • Proximity to a major airport is required.
