Job Opportunity
We are seeking a professional to fill the role of Business Development Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop new business and manage existing accounts for Construction and Polymer customers across Australia and New Zealand.
- Cross-sell and onboard new customers/product lines to drive business growth.
- Identify and assess new principals to close portfolio gaps with regional distribution services.
- Visit customers and potential customers with the sales team to develop strong relationships.
- Manage all customer interactions for the distribution business.
Ideal Candidate:
- Sales experience within chemical compounds, preferably in coatings and/or polymers.
- A strong network within the construction sector is highly regarded.
- A thorough understanding of the chemical distribution market in Australia and New Zealand.
- The ability to identify and progress new business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Degree in science, chemistry, or engineering (preferred).
- Ability to drive business and negotiate.
- Excellent level of planning, development, and implementation of sales and marketing plans.
- Willingness to travel as required.
