Job Opportunity

We are seeking a professional to fill the role of Business Development Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business and manage existing accounts for Construction and Polymer customers across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Cross-sell and onboard new customers/product lines to drive business growth.
  • Identify and assess new principals to close portfolio gaps with regional distribution services.
  • Visit customers and potential customers with the sales team to develop strong relationships.
  • Manage all customer interactions for the distribution business.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Sales experience within chemical compounds, preferably in coatings and/or polymers.
  • A strong network within the construction sector is highly regarded.
  • A thorough understanding of the chemical distribution market in Australia and New Zealand.
  • The ability to identify and progress new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Degree in science, chemistry, or engineering (preferred).
  • Ability to drive business and negotiate.
  • Excellent level of planning, development, and implementation of sales and marketing plans.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
