We are seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance professional to perform various tasks including minor repairs, gardening, and equipment operation.

Job Summary

This is a full-time fixed-term position that requires the successful applicant to have relevant qualifications and experience in a building trade or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairs and replacements of facilities and equipment;
  • Operate and maintain gardening and maintenance machinery and equipment in accordance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) expectations and guidelines;
  • Assist with the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of reticulation systems;
  • Carry out physical tasks, including bending and heavy lifting, as required;
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in a building trade or equivalent;
  • Previous experience working in a school environment is highly desirable;
  • Basic computer literacy skills to access a database system;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and problem-solving skills within the scope of the position;
  • Ability to operate and maintain all gardening and maintenance machinery and equipment, in accordance with WHS expectations and guidelines;
