Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Professional to join our team. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance tasks on structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.

  • Establish and conduct preventative maintenance procedures and schedules for buildings, equipment, and grounds.

  • Carry out carpentry, electrical, painting, mechanical, and plumbing maintenance and repairs, including furniture repair and construction.

  • Maintain cleanliness of external areas such as entranceways, sidewalks, and parking lots using manual and power equipment.

  • Ensure the safe disposal of hazardous waste and collect recyclable materials.

Requirements

  • Grade 10 plus related vocational training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Two years recent related experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

This role requires union membership and valid BC drivers' license.
