Event Service Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Event Service Coordinator to join our team at Sydney's iconic harbour-side venue. With breathtaking views of the Sydney harbour, our venue offers an exceptional setting for delivering world-class events.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To work collaboratively with the events and kitchen teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • To check on guests during the event and guarantee their needs are met.
  • To provide outstanding food and beverage service for conferences and events.
  • To assist with the setup, pack-down, and presentation of event spaces.
  • To adhere to hygiene, WHS, and venue policies.
  • To communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff for flawless event delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in customer service, hospitality, or events.
  • Holding a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
  • Able to follow instructions and work as part of a cohesive team.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing labour-intensive tasks.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
  • An understanding of manual handling and workplace safety requirements.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A basic understanding of workplace safety.
